The Runkara International Half Marathon, celebrated for uniting athletes and enthusiasts worldwide, epitomizes resilience and determination. This prestigious event, distinguished by its World Athletics Road Race Label, transcends the mere act of running, symbolizing a commitment to democracy and unity. Last year's race, marking the 100th anniversary of the Republic of Türkiye, commenced at Anıtkabir, the mausoleum of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, emphasizing the nation's historical and cultural heritage.

Looking forward to 2024, Ankara, Türkiye, is set to host the marathon once again, expecting up to 7,000 participants. The event will kick off at Anıtkabir, following a route akin to last year's, showcasing Ankara's vibrant essence. The Runkara International Half Marathon is not just a testament to athletic prowess but a celebration of shared values and international camaraderie. As we prepare for another memorable edition, the marathon continues to be a beacon of hope and unity, inviting everyone to be part of this remarkable journey.
