The Aladağlar Sky Trail represents an important race for high mountain runners, approved by the ISF (International High Mountain Running Federation) with its challenging and technical trails. The event offers two different options: a 29+ km short course (Karasay) with an elevation gain of 2400 meters and a 53+ km long course (Alaca) with an elevation gain of 4700+ meters. Trails and loose stones play an important role in both trails. With one summit crossing for the short course and two for the long course, the race takes runners to an altitude of over 3500 meters.
For safety reasons, participation is limited to 300 participants for both races. The challenging terrain demands that the number of participants be limited to ensure a safe and well-organized race everyone can enjoy. This approach ensures that the philosophy and course characteristics reflect the spirit of skyrunning.
